Ignite won't start
Ignite does not open, I have re-installed it many times but it keeps sticking on "initialising host" . computer is 2.5ghz quad core with 8gb ram 64 bit. I mostly use m-audio oxygen 61 and m-track 2 x 2. these worked great on my previous lower spec computer.

Hi Trevor,
Thanks for posting.
What operating system and version of Ignite are you using? -

sorry ive been offline for a while . Ignite 1.3.1 windows 10. The M-track 2x2m interface seems to be the problem, as I have used the oxygen 61 with no problem. The m-track keeps having to be re installed, then regularly crashes when I use the audio channel in ignite. Is there a newer version of Ignite?

You said:

Can you please provide me with some more information as to what you mean by this? Please also make sure that you've installed the driver for your M-Track 2x2M. -

The driver is installed when i use m-track to import audio, ignite often stops working, then the m-track stop running, this can only be restarted by uninstalling the driver and re-installing. i get there in the end but it is a pain!!! is there some incompatability between the hardware and software. It did work fine on my old laptop (windows 7 Athlon II P340 dual-core 4gb ram) new laptop only used for Music creation (or attempts)!!

I see that you have ver 1.3.1 : There is a newer version (1.4.1) I would definitely keep ver 1.3.1, because that version doesn't require I-lock or any special authorization: This could be handy if you want to install that version to a different machine. Note: If you open something that you made in version1.3 and save it in the newer 1.4.1, you can't go back and open that project in version 1.3.1
Anyway, you should be able to open 1.3.1, and click "Check For Updates" on the opening screen. Maybe the update will help...but I'm not sure.
Again, I wouldn't delete version 1.3 ! Also, I would first only create new projects in 1.4 to test it. Or, if you open a ver 1.3 project in 1.4, use "Save As", and give the project a different name, so you still have the original 1.3 version. -

@Trevor, this sounds like it may be an issue with your computer. Can you please provide me with a screenshot of the error message you're receiving?
