Transfuser 2.0.7 content issues

Constant issues with this program, email to support and no response in a week +. I'm using Windows 10 x64, VIP and Live Lite. Whenever I open Tranfuser, I get "content missing or corrupted". It is licensed, I've moved it, changed where it is linked to both in the plugin and in the registry (and the files ARE there), changed the slashes from / to \, NOTHING works. Looking around the web, seems like it is a pretty common problem, is AMT ignoring it?

I admit, I'm a total noob to software based music, but overall I'm fairly competent with both software and hardware. Any suggestions?

    Sorry to hear about your troubles. It sounds like you moved your content and this is why you're experiencing this error issue. We don't recommend moving your currently installed content as that could cause further issues with your projects. However, this could be done on a Mac. Perform this at your own risk.

    1. Click Finder, then Finder Preferences.

    2. Click on the sidebar at the top. Ensure that Hard Disk and External Disks are checked under Devices. If you're in doubt, check everything on this page. If this is not checked, your drives will not display in the sidebar as a valid location for content.

    3. Navigate to Applications > AIR Music Technology > [product name] folders. Locate the [product name] Data.big file. This is what you want to move. Do not move the presets. Those are only configuration files. The sound libraries are contained in the [product name] Data.big file.

    4. Move this file to the external drive location. Remember to note this exact location.

    5. Open your [product name] in a DAW.

    6. Click the Wrench on the bottom left next to the keyboard.

    7. Click the Content Location box, then navigate to the folder from the sidebar that contains your [product name] Data.big file. If your drives are displayed, then the external drive isn't checked under Finder Preferences.

    8. Click Choose once your location is chosen. Your [product name] may prompt you to restart the plugin. If so, Save your work, close the project, then restart it. The content should be located on the external drive now.

    **You may need to reinstall your software if you perform this again. I recommend uninstalling the software from your computer then reinstalling the software by following the instructions above if you wish to move the content at your own risk.

  • I’m frustrated
    As I mentioned in my initial post, I'm on Windows, 10 x64. And I've NOT moved it, and gotten the issue. I've installed, uninstalled, found ALL the folders on my PC, including the hidden ones, and reinstalled. I've allowed the default location during the install (C:\ProgramData\Air Music Technology\Transfuser) AND still get the error. And I've moved it, done all of your suggestions, and still gotten errors.

    I'm new to this, but have quite a few plugins, and this is the only one I have issues with.It happens MOSTLY when I access it from VIP, but not always.

  • Is there a resolution to this bug? I have been trying to resolve the same data corruption / missing License error for more than a month of having air instruments. Transfuser is the one instrument I really want to use. VIP Software and related products have wasted so much of my creative time while I deal with errors, lock ups, corrupting reinstalling and troubleshooting ASIO drivers and sound card drivers, installing them, and finally resorting to unsupported 3rd party ASIO drivers I found on GIThub. If I could get this one issue resolved it would really redeem my entire experience!

    Doesn't that seem like a more than generous trade? I am registering my AIR producrts for service now and going tthough your tech department.

    Honestly you should be embarrassed an issue this old ha\s not been addressed by the tech department and a fix worked down the client chain. Akai should have had all the info I needed to resolve this as a value add for distributing your softwarre bundle. Granted the Air software is wonderful but, I would rather almost just have a synth that had onboard GM sounds o I could just play my keyboard instead of combing through pdf after pdf of how to use the fancy functioning software.
