Out of respect, Akai should be at a minimum, explaining where our product is that we preordered. The expected date keeps changing and the unprofessionalism of communication is unacceptable. We aren't watchers. We are customers/investors who have already paid and haven't received what we paid for. If there are internal production issues, that's understandable. Not communicating honestly and transparently is the bigger issue. Those who expected 2.0 software with the Ren and Touch have been duped many times over. There is a clear disrespect and lack of appreciation for customer loyalty with this company. At this point I will gladly move on if a competitor produces a comparable product and software.

  • Hey everybody,

There has not been an official release date announced for the upcoming hardware and software. The MPC X, MPC Live and MPC 2.0 software are expected to be available in Quarter 1 of 2017. Any dates posted by retailers are assigned by the retailer directly. If you have a question or concern about your pre-order, I would encourage you to get into contact with the retailer with which you are doing business. As far as I know, most retailers do not charge you until the item has shipped. Again, this would be something you would discuss with the retailer from which you are purchasing.

We are looking forward to hearing our artists' creations with the upcoming hardware and software. Your patience is appreciated!

Let me know if you have any questions.
