APC 40

APC40 Not Working, need help to figure out why its is not working with my Mac.

    Thanks for posting!

    Sorry to hear that you are having trouble! The APC40 is class compliant and does not require a driver to work with the macOS. You may be experiencing a USB connectivity issue. Try connecting the controller with a different USB cable, with different USB ports on your computer, and to a different computer to see if you can reproduce the same behavior. Be sure to connect directly to the computer via USB and avoid using any USB hubs or adapters.

    If you try the steps listed above and you are still unable to connect the controller, It sounds like your product may need to be serviced. Warranty and non-warranty claims are not handled here on the forum, but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Warranty or Service inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the Akai Pro Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu.

    or

    • For quicker support, call your nearest Support Office or International Distributor.
