APC40mk2 Ableton playback hiccups

Hello,
I use Akai MPK mini mk2 and Akai APC 40mk2 together with Ableton 9.5 - when the playback runs, there are very occasional few millisecond long hitches. When the hitch occurs no indicator is lit up, and my CPU usage is about 8-10% stable. However there is sometimes an orange square indicator next to the MIDI indicator, but again, not during the hiccup itself.

I use two USB 2.0 ports to connect both devices to the computer and drivers are all up to date. No USB hubs. I am sure it's the issue with APC, because when I don't use it, hiccups never appear.

It's really annoying hard-to-test issue, that causes tempo to drop over time (when having an independent instrument playing along).
Thank you for help!

    Thanks for posting!

Here is an article from Ableton's knowledge base regarding "Crackling" in audio playback and how to avoid it:

Have you tried using your APC with a different computer to see if you experience the same playback behavior? If you have and the behavior remains the same, you may need to contact one of our authorized repair centers so they can take a closer look at the controller.

Here is a list of our recommended repair centers:

If you use the APC with a different computer and do not experience any hitches then you may need to contact Ableton's support team.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions.

    Thank you
I have tried another computer which had USB 3.0 only and that seems to solve the problem. I thought I am supposed to use only USB 2.0 with APC.
Also I have increased the buffer size a bit, now not encountering the problems anymore.
    Have a good day!
