Brand new EIE pro NOT working

My brand new EIE Pro is NOT working. It working well for one day and then everytime i've tríed to connect it i get a "usb device not recognized" message. I've already tried all the available drivers in two different computers. I've read that lots of customers have received faulty units. My unit was bought in London and brought to Argentina where there is not any technical support . What solution does akai give me? I feel terribly dissapointed
