Cant unlock mpc because i have used it on 'too many computers'

I can not unlock my MPC essentials software because it is saying i have installed it on too many computers, but i have only installed it on one computer. I have reinstalled windows a handful of times since ive had the mpc, but idk why that should matter. I have tried to contact akai customer support multiple times but i never get a response, other than the one saying i will get a response in 24 -72 hours. No one ever contacts me again. How can i get in touch with someone to fix this problem? Thank you for any help.

  • Hi Chris,

Thanks for the post. Sorry to hear you're having trouble.

The tech support team is definitely the place to be. They can help with any software authorization questions.

You had submitted a support request at the link below?

    www.akaipro.com/support (select "Software Authorization Assistance")

They'll usually respond in 24-72 hours, not including weekends/holidays. Hope they get in touch soon.

  • Thanks for the reply. Yea, I tried that exact support link two times in the last 2 weeks and I don't get a response for some reason. The only thing I can think of is that when I try to click "software authorization assistance" it doesn't do anything and stays on the "technical support" box. I have tried selecting software authorization assistance with 3 different web browsers(firefox, chrome, and IE) and none of them are able to make the correct box highlighted.

The only email I ever get is an automated one that says they will get in touch with me in 24-72 hours, which never seems to happen.

EDIT i was actually able to select the correct box in google chrome for some reason now, so hopefully it will go through correctly.
