Everything is receiving midi data ... Even when I push the button I see midi flashing on my master the MpC 5000 but I can't figure out how to get the transport, Knobs, and Faders to send data to the 5000... I've turn on receive mmc and only the rec and play buttons work but no others

  • Hey JBookmuzik,

    Thanks for posting!

The MPK can be configured to send MIDI data via its transport, knob, and fader controls. Make sure that the MPK is sending MMC data by pushing the Edit button, then pressing a Transport button and selecting MMC in the display. Enable the MIDI DIN port because you will be connecting the MPK to the MPC with a MIDI cable.

Once your MPK is properly configured to send MMC data, you will want to ensure that the MPC is configured to receive MMC as it sounds like you've done. For more information about how the MPC utilizes MMC, refer to the MMC Command list on page 187 of the MPC5000 User Guide.

The MIDI CC values that are sent from the MPK need to be the same MIDI CC values that the MPC is set to use for specific parameters. Check page 60 of the User Guide for more information about internal MIDI CC setup.

You can download the MPC5000's User Guide here.

    I hope that's helpful!

Once Again Thanks !!! Midi Connections are very confusing but soon as u learn how to use it ... It is really a powerful Tool ...
