HELP PLEASE i need to unlock MPC elssentials on a new computer

i installed MPC essentials on my old pc and my mac mini when i first purchased my element. now I've upgraded to a new mac laptop and i want to put mac essentials on it but it won't let me unlock it. My question is this; if i delete MPC essentials off the pc will i be able to unlock it on the new mac?

    Thanks for posting!

    No, simply deleting it off of the PC will not make it available on the Mac. Just start by making sure that you have the latest drivers for the Element and version of Essentials installed on the Mac before attempting to unlock. These will both be on your Akai Pro account page.

    You could also just grab the latest drivers here:

    With the Element connected to the computer, open MPC Essentials to unlock and you will see the serial number appear at the top of the screen. If it doesn't, that usually indicates that the drivers were not installed or did not install properly.

    If you receive an error that you have run out of authorizations, please contact our support team directly and they will be able to resolve this for you. Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Software Authorization Assistance inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the Akai Pro Support page. Select Software Authorization Assistance from the drop down menu.

    or

    • For quicker support, call your nearest Support Office.
