Impc pro 2 latency issues

Hey how do I fix latency in my iMPC Pro 2 app on my iPad?

    Thanks for posting!

    The iMPC Pro 2 app is optimized to function on iOS devices so it doesn't really have audio buffer settings to adjust. Are you using any peripherals to input MIDI data like a pad controller? How is the controller connected if so? I suppose it could be possible that the adapter you are using to connect the controller to the iOS device is affecting data transfer. Do you experience latency if you disconnect the controller or if you use the virtual pads in the app to trigger samples?

    There are some steps you can take to help ease the load on your iOS device. I would recommend closing all non-essential applications (which should be just about all applications) on the device to ensure that iMPC can use as much of the iOS device's resources as possible.

  • Ok I got it. I have 1 more question. Can I use my MPC element with my akai software 2.3 ? if so how, i have it plugged in my laptop but its not responding to the software.
