MPC 2.0 GUI Looks ...

First off. I love the mpc x. Ive been a customer since the akai SO-1 and the s2800 samplers. One thing that i've noticed since the mpc ren, is that the GUI looks very antiquated compared to say, mashine. The MPC 2.0 GUI, although a improvement, still looks very outdated, and is inefficiently laid out on certain pages. In my opinion, information on several pages could be consolidated into lessor amount pages(especially sample edit pages) Why not borrow from your iMPC Pro line. The iMPC pro (pro 2) looks very modern and up to date; the GUI makes good use of the space, the colors and graphics pop.

  • Hey Brit,

    Thanks for posting!

I think the MPC 2.0 software looks pretty sharp but if you would like to make some suggestions regarding the GUI, send it to our development team! You can use the MPC software's feedback module to do this. The feedback module is represented by a smiley icon at the lower right side of the software next to the browser icons. This information goes directly to the Akai team for consideration!

    Thanks for your feedback!
