  • Hey gun mass,

    Thanks for posting!

You can transfer files to the computer from your MPC5000 by doing the following:

    1. Insert a memory card in the card slot of the MPC5000.

    2. Press the Mode button and Pad 3 (Disk). The Disk Mode will be displayed.

    3. Press the [F4] (USB) key. This brings up the USB page, which you use to connect the MPC5000 to the Mac.

    4. Connect the MPC5000 to your computer via USB cable.

    5. The drive will mount on the desktop.

    6. After you finish the data transfer, select the removable media and drag and drop to the trash can.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

  • thank you for you response.

this is, of course what i have tried to do (with different computers), but even though the MPC shows that it is connected and ready for file transfer, the computer is not able to detect the usb connection. in case of my newer computer (a mac running os11) the MPC shows the same message, but that one is flickering and switches between the 'connected' and 'not connected' screen. in this case as well the comp. can not detect a usb connection.

    thanks for further help.

  • The current one is OS 10.15 right now, do you mean you're running OS X 10.11?? I think that was Yosemite?
