  • Hey Seker,

    Thanks for posting!

Currently the MPC 2.0 Software is slated to support VST2 plugins, as well as AU plugins for Mac, just like the previous MPC software versions. As we approach the release of the software, more information will be available.

  • Will the MPC 2.0 software be released before the MPC Live and MPC X or at the same time?

  • I’m FRUSTRATED
I just took some time to really look into that Pioneer SP-16 Toraiz and I realize I have been playing that thing short. It is really DOPE! If they could drop that price to $999 or at the highest $1100 I will be getting it instead if the Akai MPC Live or MPC-X are not out yet. My original plan was to sell my NI Maschine Studio, (which I did under the belief that the original early February release date was accurate), and buy the Live for my mobile production work and to have the X as the centerpiece of my Mac-based home studio. Well, some of that went to the birds and I am learning that Akai operates in a poor manner regarding their consumers and potential new consumers. I remember my first buying experience with Behringer when I pre-ordered the B2031 Truth monitors. I was alerted several weeks before the release date that they were having issues and would likely miss their target ship date. They kept me updated every single week as the original release date approached and finally gave me a two-week range when to expect them and they hit it right in the middle. I hated the delay but I was really appreciative of the great communication as it made me aware that they valued me as a customer and my buying power was respected as much as the wealthy consumer it felt.
