MPC X. Rooting looper to X/Y Effect pad straight in live mode.

Hello all.

Just wondering, - working with MPC X, is there a possibility to use the X/Y pad to apply effects to a freshly generated loop?

It would be great to record the loop live and to use it with the X/Y pad directly in the flow of the performance without saving it first etc.

Many thanks for any responces

Warmly,

Anton

  • Hey Anton,

    Thanks for posting!

XYFX cannot be added to a loop in Looper mode before it is exported as a sample. This might be a useful feature though, so I would advise you to submit this as a feature request with the MPC 2.0 Software's built-in feedback module. The feedback module is represented by a smiley icon at the lower right side of the software next to the browser icons. This information goes directly to the Akai team for consideration!

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Hello Nick!

Thanks a lot! This would make sense!

Also wondering, - as this is already a second feature I am trying to submit, - is this smiley in the built in module on the MPC2.0 software in the device itself or in the computer version of it, - as I am not able to find it.

Is there by any chance a screen-short somebody could add, - got lost.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Best

    Anton

  • Hey Anton,

The feedback module is located in the software itself. I have highlighted it in a yellow box in the image below:
