    Thanks for posting!

Yes, both the original MPK mini and the MPK mini mkII are compatible with Ableton Live 10. These controllers are class compliant MIDI devices so you can connect them to your computer and start inputting MIDI data right away without installing a driver.

I'm configuring an MPK mini mkII here but the settings would be very similar with an original MPK (the difference being the name in the Input and Output fields):

We can verify that your MPK is sending MIDI data to your computer with MIDI monitoring software. A MIDI monitor will show you all the incoming data from any MIDI controllers or MIDI interfaces that you have connected to your computer.

For testing MIDI devices on PC:
    MIDI-OX

This video will get you set up quickly for Input Monitoring in MIDI-OX:
    Monitoring MIDI Input with MIDI-OX

For testing MIDI devices on Mac:
    snoize: MIDI Monitor

Select the MPK as a MIDI input device in the monitor and send some MIDI data from its keys and controllers. If you see MIDI data populate the input monitor window, the MPK is sending data correctly and will only need to be configured in Live.

    I hope that helps you!
