Need help manually mapping MPK249 on Logic Pro X.

Can someone help me manually map my MPK249 to Logic Pro X? I tried following the tutorial given by Akai, but it won't let me set my parameters; when I tried to set the parameters for my controls and it would automatically set all of them to mute. I tried looking for videos and other tutorials, but came up with nothing.

  • Now, instead of all of my control parameters being set to mute, they're all blank and cannot be reset unless deleted, but the problem persists after deletion.

    Hi,

    Thanks for posting!

The process is actually a lot easier than the controller assignments window makes it, so I try to avoid using that window if possible.

    Try this:

    - Hit Command + L to activate midi learn
    - Move the parameter in the software that you would like to control
    - Move the knob/slider/button on the controller you would like to assign
    - You should see immediate control over the parameter with the controller
    - Close the Assignments window when you are finished

    and that's about it!
