Does 24 bit / 44 Samples work in iMPC Pro now?
Can you paste more than, say, 50 samples from AudioCopy?
Just pasted 77 Mad Professor Vol 1, short samples, (they are in 16 bit/44) - and after a while iMPC Pro crashes, when i go to, say, program and chose a folder in iMpc Pro. Do i need to convert samples to be sure that they are real 16 bit?
I think it is pasting many samples from AudioCopy that is the problem.
I'm on iPad Air 2.

Hi,
Thanks for posting!
iMPC Pro does support 24 bit/44.1 samples.
Be careful that you are not overloading your RAM by dragging in too many samples. This is very dependent on the exact specifications of your ipad. You can monitor your CPU/RAM usage with the meters up in the top left corner of the App.
Try dragging in smaller groups of samples and keep an eye on those meters to see if they spike. If so, this is most likely your problem.
Hope this helps! -

iPad Air 2 has the most RAM so far (from Apple) 2GB.
Tested some of the same samples in DM1 (Drum Mashine App) and same thing, a crash. So i am gonna check those particular samples.
Maybe I'll have to wait intill The Mad Professor sample pack turns up in the Sample Store Inside IMpc Pro -

Thanks for testing that out.
I just noticed that the Mad Professor package main format comes with Acidized WAV loops and samples, which the app may have trouble reading properly and could cause it to crash.
I'd have to recommend using different samples for the time being, but I'm happy to add a feature request for you! -

I checked the wavs that i have imported with iMediaHUD, don't think they are acidized. How can you Tell?
I'll convert a bunch later to check again, What exakt format should i use? -

Acidized just means that they have pitch and tempo data written into them that makes it easier to sync tempos. I'm not sure this is the problem but it's an idea. Especially if the same thing happens in a different app with the same loops.
You can try and just convert them to WAV 16 bit/44.1 and see if that helps at all. Maybe try it in small batches instead of 60 or 70 at a time. -

Imported som Other samples and they Work fine, so i guess it's the Mad Professors' just like you Said!
