Problem with MPC Essentials and multiple AKAI Devices

I already have MPC Essentials installed on my computer, unlocked with an MPC Element.
Now I purchased a MPK mini MK2 and I cannot get it to be recognized by MPC Essentials. I tried to uninstall, but somehow the registration data remains and after reinstall and I do not get the unlock prompt. The software is still unlocked with my MPC Element serial number. Is there a Way to get this working?

    Thanks for posting!

    As long as the MPC Essentials software is unlocked, it will work with different devices. The software does not unlock specifically for one controller. You will likely just need to select the MPK mini mkII as an active MIDI input within the software. To do this, select Edit > Preferences > MIDI and enable the MPK. The picture below will illustrate this:
