Real time “Shift Timing”

Does anyone know of a way to get the “shift timing” Q link to work in real time the same way we can adjust “swing” live and hear immediate results. I can only seem to shift the timing of selected notes manually which to me defeats the purpose of having a dedicated Q link. I can hear the live results when auditioning note repeat timing settings..but for us that like to shift notes in sample increments after they’re recorded, It would be nice to be able to on the fly fine tune the timing feel of each element of a sequence/drum pattern etc.

  • Hey Creativ Aaron,

    Thanks for posting!

At its current build, the MPC is not able to make Shift Timing adjustments in real time. I see how this could be a useful feature to implement, though. Be sure to submit this as a feature request with the MPC 2 Software's built-in feedback module. The feedback module is represented by a smiley icon at the lower right side of the software next to the browser icons. This information goes directly to the Akai team for consideration!

If you need an alternative method of submitting feedback, you may use the following links:

    Thanks for your feedback!
