Roland sp-404 sp-303 wonky tape effect for MPC Live/X
I would really like an "instant tape" effect on the MPC Live a la Roland SP404. Something that added some warmth, saturation, hissy taped goodness - some eq and tape compression. I have alway found that was the only thing the SP404 was good at. It actually only really had a cult status primarily for the sound. This has since been recreated in a lot of plugins. My favourite is Goodherz Wow VST.

2yes akai please! i suggested a tape/cassette /vhs effect too.
eq, comp, saturation, wow, flutter, crinkle, drop outs, etc in one effect.
now you have to sacrifice like 4 fx and all lfos (not even free running!) to TRY to simulate it .Comment -

The sp404 doesn't have a tape effect it's a vinyl simulator
