  • Hey Gerald,

    Thanks for posting!

    This sounds like a great idea. Please be sure to submit this as a feature request with the MPC 2 Software's built-in feedback module. The feedback module is represented by a smiley icon at the lower right side of the software next to the browser icons. This information goes directly to the Akai team for consideration!

  • Open ending question; How does MPC handle VST instruments with more than 1 or 2 audio output channels? Are the channels summed together, either as mono or stereo, and if so where in the pipeline does this happen?

    I wonder whether 'we' could use VCV Rack's audio bridge module (which supports 8 channels and multiple ports) placed in as an Effect in MPC to break an 8 channel VST instrument into 8 separate tracks... by cross plugging input(s) on a single 'Port' to _DIFFERENT_ output 'Ports'

    Ie.
    Track 1 TR808 -> VCV Bridge (Port 1) -> 1st Output Ch
    Track 2 (fake input) -> VCV Bridge (Port 2) -> 2nd Output Ch
    Track 3 (fake input) -> VCV Bridge (Port 3) -> 3rd Output Ch
    etc...

    Maybe I'll have a play later ;-)

  • Something like this... I'd be interested if/how the TR808 plugin actually outputs its mix and sub-mixes (for individual instrument).
