Sidechain filter for compressors and mother ducker

sidechain filter for compressor and, even more important, for mother ducker.
every modern compressor should have a sidechain filter to make it work properly and avoid having it being driven only by the peak in low frequency dictated by the kick. in mother ducker, even if the idea is for it to be driven in most cases by the kick drum, having a sidechain filter can help remove some low frequency from the sidechain and have the compression work overall better (not staying locked in an awful lot of gain reduction for too long time).

  • Hey Delfio Bacco,

    Thanks for posting!

That's an interesting idea and would provide more fine-tuned control over sidechained compressors. I've forwarded this to the team for further consideration.
