MPC Software update 2.x / MPC Renaissance / DEZ-2017

Hi. I’ve a question concerning software updates purchases going back to end of 2017.
I did register my product (MPC Renaissance) on 26 Nov 2017, did purchase the MPC 2.x software update for the MPC Renaissance including the VAULT 2.0 (MPC 2.0 Content upgrade) and received an unlock code on 13/12/2017 via Email.

The update 2.x purchase is not listed in the my Akaipro account (My Account) under the “My Downloadable Products”. It says:”You have not purchased any downloadable products yet.”

If i can't download the Software Update installer via my AkaiPro account (since it is not listed), i can't receive any future software updates. How can i make use of my software 2.x update purchase for new installations now and any further software updates in the future?

    Thanks for posting!

    If you have purchased the MPC Software through the Fast Spring store, you will have received an email with the authorization code and the download link. This information will not be stored in your Akai Pro account as it is separate from Fast Spring.

    If you are already running the MPC 2 Software, you will always be able to receive the latest version of the software. The easiest way to update the software when a new version is released is right in the software itself.

    On Windows, select Help > Check For Updates..., on Mac, select MPC > Check For Updates... and the software will ping the server for any available updates.

    If you ever run into some trouble with software authorization, our support team will be happy to help you! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Software Authorization Assistance inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the Akai Pro Support page. Select Software Authorization Assistance from the drop down menu.

    or

    • For quicker support, call your nearest Support Office.

    I did get an email with code, i've attached a screenshot below (marking the code).

    Since i lost track of installations using this code (also using/used a MPC Touch/X),
    i'd like to reset the my installations and start over form start (using this very code).

    How do i proceed from here. How can i reset and download the latest MPC software
    version? Will this very code be working on the MPC Software version 3 too?

  • Hi, i tried to submit a Software Authorization Assistance inquiry via the provided link. But again i'm denied to send the post since it says the "Product Serial Number is missing etc...". Since in the fields to enter there is no entry for such a serial number the info is misleading. Anyhow it is my second approach which ends at that point.
    This is not very straight forward, to be honest. Screenshots are attached below.
