Start Up Issues with MPC X

Unit not completing startup cycle.
Had the unit about 2 weeks, only started happening in the last week, updated OS.
My unit has no USB drive attached, but does have an additional internal SSD and the USB 3 cable connected to my Mac. Problem the same if i remove the USB cable from the MPC X. The unit will start if I shut it down when frozen and re start it.

    Sorry you're having some trouble with that! It sounds like your product may need to be serviced. Warranty and non-warranty claims are not handled here on the forum, but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Warranty or Service inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the Akai Pro Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu.


    • For quicker support, call your nearest Support Office or International Distributor.
