Take Tracks or Comping

Will MPC 2.0 include take tracks/comping.? This is a must have feature for recording sessions.

  • I'm not sure what you asking for, but you can bounce tracks or sequences at once (there is a dedicated button for that) and you can put compressor plugins even on pad level or track level or master output level. If you using it in controller mode and move to computer level, you'll have another feature, the submix channels, which can group your tracks for functions like percussives, kick+bass, leads, backings etc.

  • Hey G,

    Thanks for posting!

What G is referring to here is recording multiple takes of audio and compiling the best portions of each take into one "best" take. I do not have any additional information regarding whether or not this is planned for the MPC software but since there is interest, I would advise you to submit this as feedback with the built-in feedback module in the MPC software (smiley icon adjacent to the browsers) so the Akai team will see it!
