Too Many MPCs connected to Software

Hi,

Since the latest update, I've been consistently getting an error when connecting my MPC X via Controller Mode.

Too many MPCs!

You've plugged in more then one MPC, but the MPC software will only connect to one device at a time.
The software is currently connected to an .

I don't have anything else connected. I have rebooted both my MAC and MPC, yet I still get the message.

Please help!!

    Thanks for posting!

    Sorry you're having some trouble with that! What version of the MPC Software are you running? The latest version of MPC is currently at version 2.2.1 and I would recommend updating to that version first.

    In addition to that, make sure that you have the latest driver installed for the MPC X on your computer. You can install that from the MPC Software's installer file by selecting the MPC X in the menu where you can choose your MPC hardware.

    If you continue to have some trouble, try navigating to the directory highlighted in red in the image below and deleting the MPC.settings file. When you relaunch the software, MPC will create a new .settings file and reconfigure its settings.



    Try that out and let us know how it works!
