Unable to download any of the required Akai software - "an error has occurred: support team has been informed please try again tomorrow"

Is anyone else having trouble registering their product at the moment? Every time I try to download the necessary software to hopefully make my newly purchased MPC Touch to work, I get confronted with "an error has occurred: support team has been informed please try again tomorrow". Thoughts?

  • Yup!!! Same here, I tried several times. Yesterday asked from support team it said need try tomorrow but still cannot get own serial number to run my software.

  • yep i've been having the problem since FRIDAY, and when i contacted support they just said they were 'going through some maintenance' and 'working diligently to get the website back to full functionality'. no apology or ETA on when it will be fixed by. not pleased!

    Thanks for posting!

    The web site was undergoing maintenance that caused some issues with the authorization codes. They have since resolved the issue for most if not all codes. I suggest signing out of your account and signing in again. If the "Get Me A Serial" button does not generate a code, contact the support team for further assistance. Software authorization claims are not handled here on the forum but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Technical Support inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the Akai Pro Support page. Select Software Authorization Assistance from the drop down menu.

    or

    • For quicker support, call your nearest Support Office.
