Changed reply in topic of Alesis Sample Pad Pro - SD card not being read unless manually pushed in by Andy H to Seems like it's that you're using a converter. Do you have any SD cards kicking around that you can try? If you If you do I'd format it as FAT first. It may be that the micro sd card is just seated funny but I think it wouldn't trust that setup. .

Changed reply in topic of How to Setup my Vortex Wireless as a Control Surface in Ableton by Bill R. to Hi Joshua,

Thanks for posting.

If your MIDI ports are not being recognized when connecting your Vortex Wireless to your computer, this means the controller is not being properly recognized. Are you using Windows or Mac?

Make sure you've connected your controller to your computer prior to opening the software and that you're connected directly to your computer's USB port. Try another USB port or cable if it's still not being recognized. Check out this helpful guide we've created below for further troubleshooting steps for class-compliant USB devices:

Troubleshooting Class Compliant USB Devices

It does seem that web page is down, and I do apologize. I will make sure to let my web team know about this. In the meantime, I've uploaded the controller mapper from the website to my personal Google Drive account, which you can download below:

Download Vortex Wireless Ableton Live Controller Map

This link will expire in 48 hours. Once this mapping file is installed, you will see the Vortex Wireless show as a control surface within Ableton. That file will also contain setup instructions on how to configure the controller within Ableton.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions..

    Donnie Canup
Changed reply in topic of Surge Mesh Kit Kick Drum Issue by Donnie Canup to I fixed my Alesis Surge kick pedal. I bought my set used, but only a few months old, from a guy for pretty cheap. I felt like the kick drum was quiet despite all of the same adjustments you did...finally it just quit...which is probably why he was selling it. Ugh. I took it apart, re-soldered the original red and black wires to the piezo transducer disc...they are tiny and had broken. If your piezo transducer(drum trigger) is too broken you CAN order them on Amazon. Also, here is the link to the video I used to repair it: https://youtu.be/PEEBde_5_nQ The author of the video is Brian Botkiller, made in 2013. I hope this helps..
