I’m frustrated, mad

5 months of use and i officially despise this kit.

this kit is really, REALLY bad.
the balancing of volumes between the different drums is so awful its impossible to play any song without having one drum overpower all the others. for example: the snare is WAYYY too quiet, no matter how hard you hit it. The bass drum is way too loud, no matter how light you tap your foot. The hi hat is way too quiet, no matter how hard you hit it. the crash is too quiet and the ride is simply awful in every way. the toms seem to be the only decently balanced drums on the entire kit.

there is no software for this kit which destroys any hope of trying to fix the balancing.
you cant use this kit with any digital drum machine that i know of, this makes this kit even more useless. for the money you will spend on this kit, you will get a pathetic 10 different sounds which are all quite bad.

tl;dr bad kit

  • Hi Alexander,

    Thanks for posting Sorry you're having issues with your DM Lite Kit.

    You can adjust the volume of your kit by going through these steps below:

    1) First, do one of the following:

    * With the Variation Button lit red, double-press the 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 Button to select Kit 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5.
    * With the Variation Button lit green, double-press the 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 Button to select Kit 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10

    2) The display will show an L ("Level") and the volume level (00-32). Use the - or _ Buttons to set the Kit's volume level.
    3) Wait for 4 seconds. The drum module will automatically save the new setting.
