Alesis DM6 USB Kit with Rock Band 4

Hi,I have a second hand Alesis DM6 USB which I was informed to be just over a year old. I wanted this kit as I'd broken my stock Rock Band 4 drums and assumed this kit would be more durable.Initially I was extremely please with the kit and bought as USB cable + Midi Pro Adapter. I have the kit hooked up to my PS4 and RB4, via a PC using MidiOx .All appears to work fine, except I find am dropping notes I believe I've successfully hit. I've researched on the internet possible issues as I'd assumed it was all to do the the Midi Por of MikiOx setup. However, I believe the issue is down to either double hits or echos I have now noted when playing the drums. These occur occasionally but its enough drop notes in the game.I don't know if its an issue with the drums or just my inexperience of playing a proper dum kit. I've done lots of play tests and I can sometimes trigger another tom when play the hi-hat as well. I really don't know what the issue is but now SUSPECT its an issue with the drum kit. Could this be caused by faulty cable ? Or an issue with the cable connector ?Any advise would be really appreciated. Thanks,Mike

  • Hello Mike,

    Thanks for posting!

There are some steps that you can take to optimize the performance of your DM6 that I would try.  What you are describing can be related to crosstalk which is a normal function of this kit.  Check this link for steps on reducing the number of missed triggers and optimizing crosstalk on your DM6.

If you still happen to experience this issue after performing the steps described above, it is possible that there may be an issue with the cable snake or module.  Please get in contact with your nearest Support Office for further assistance.
