ALESIS V49 NOTES VOLUME TOO HIGH

Hi, whenever i try to play softly sometimes the note would spike really loud..My curve is already in 1 through the editor. What else can i do to fix this?

    Thanks for posting.

    You can choose between 8 different velocity curves on the V-series keybed. While we recommend using a setting of 1 or 2, we also encourage you to experiment to find the best setting for your own playing style. Below is a visual representation of the different curves available for the keybed on the Alesis V series keyboards. As you can see, curve 1is a 1:1 ratio of velocity to how hard you press the keys, while curve 8 is a fixed velocity of 127 no matter how hard the keys are pressed.

  • Unfortunately it's not an answer. Flat curve 8 is inacceptable.

    First time i used curve 7 to learn my fingers press keys stronger (otherwise classic piano sounds too quiet), But these occassional loud notes drive me mad and curve switching doesn't help.
    It looks like .,,..,|,.,...,.,,.,.,,,.|..,,,. where dots and commas is ok and | means loud notes without any reason.
