my Mic Link cable connects shure 57 with mac. the sound on output is delayed, sometimes is makes just cracking, sometimes (without no moving) it stops and records just ok. - i am using garage band
its not the mic (i chaged it in the store already for another one because i thought its the mike first), i tried to play also with the preferencies (types of input, output) but its the same problem.
and one more thing: it is probaly not the computer, my YETI USB mic works just fine

Hello Jan,
Thanks for posting. I'd like to help. The MicLink is a class compliant device so there are no additional drivers to install. Lets make sure your setup properly.
For Macs, go to your System Preferences, then click Sound. Click the Input tab and select C-Media USB Audio Device as the input device. Close the Control Panel. Lastly, adjust the USB buffer settings or latency in Garageband. Watch this video here to help you out. -

Hello Chris,
Thanks for your reply. the cracking is also connected with the latency?
