Crosstalk issues on Strike Multipad with Roland RT-10K and RT-10S triggers

Hi,

I've had this unit for 2 days and I'm a bit disappointed. I've been waiting 2 months for this unit and I don't know if I'll keep it. I know there's a "Crosstalk" value from 0 to 32 but it doesn't seem to help on either end. I don't know I'm getting snare triggers when I play the kick drum and kick drum triggers when I hit the snare.

I checked and it isn't because multiple sounds are grouped together etc.

Is Alesis going to address this issue?

Does anyone have any crosstalk and sensitivity values I can try?

Cheers,
Pher

    Thanks for posting!

Sorry to hear you are experiencing some cross-talk issues with your triggers. I would recommend raising the Threshold on each trigger, they may be "too" sensitive which is why each trigger is causing the other to react. This will cause the triggers to only respond to "harder" hits, you will need to find a good balance so you can still get some dynamics from the triggers.

You can find the Threshold setting in Pad view :)

Let me know if this helps!
