DM10 shows as triggering constantly

I am having a huge problem with my dm-10 module. ALL the inputs with the exception of the ride cymbal show that a signal is on constantly, yet no sound is coming out of any pad or cymbal. Tried reinitializing the unit and all that did was wipe out my user programs with no luck in stopping the problem. I do have a new power supply which is 9V 1300 mA, I ordered the exact power supply as a replacement, but I have a feeling that will not solve this problem. I have gigs coming up soon and I need this back working ASAP!!!!!! Please help!!!!!!

  • Hi Tom,

Sorry you're having issues with your DM10.

It sounds like your product may need to be serviced. Warranty and non-warranty claims are not handled here on the forum, but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Warranty or Service inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the Alesis Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu.

    or

    • For quicker support, call your nearest Support Office or International Distributor.

Make sure to reference or link this thread to help out the support team.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.

  • Hey Tom check if the new power supply indicates 9V AC output, as other users have reported no sound from the module when it's powered from a 9V DC supply output.

If you've ordered an exact replacement supply it should provide 9V AC output.
