DM Pro: What do midi notes like "A1L91" mean

I use a DM Pro primarily for the Hi-Hat midi controller in my studio. I recently bought a used replacement that is apparently older firmware than my previous one (1.01 as compared 2.0).

In the trigger midi note assignment screen the version 1.01 unit shows many of the non-sharped notes with destinations like G1L90 and A1L91 rather than just G1 and A1. What on earth does the L90 and L91 in those designate? My 2.0 unit has no such thing and I can't find anything about it in the manual.

Also, is there any difference in the Hi-Hat controller and Hi-Hat midi out functionality between the 2.0 and 1.01 versions?

Thanks in advance!
Tom
