Forge Kit Expansion

I want to utilize the Crash Trigger & Tom 4 trigger inputs on the Forge module. Are these inputs single, dual or triple zone inputs?

I want to add a Jobeky Electronic Cowbell to the Tom 4 trigger and a dual or triple zone cymbal to the Crash trigger. Will this work?

  • Hi Todd,

Thanks for posting! I'll be happy to help!

The Crash and Tom 4 Trigger inputs on the back of the Forge Kit are single zone. While other standard or dual-zone single pads will likely work, the Forge module is configured to respond optimally with the included drum kit.  You could potentially use third-party standard triggers, however, since other manufacturers design triggers specifically for different drum modules, not all triggers may respond as expected.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions!

  • But Alesis doe not sell any pads that are labeled as specifically compatable. I see many variations on this question and no one from Alesis seems able to answer. What pads would you recomend for the Forge controller?
