How will I know if a vendor sent me the latest generation of the Strike Kit?

Hi, I'm concerned about getting the older first-gen one and they aren't forthcoming about confirming this...how can I tell once I receive it that it's the newest one available at this time?

    Thanks for posting! 

    Currently, there is no Gen 1 or Gen 2 kit available through our dealers, it's just the Strike Pro Kit. The only thing that has changed is the firmware (1.4) and the new Chrome Hi-Hat spring. If you have a black spring, you can contact our support team to request a replacement. If something goes wrong with your kit or need help figuring something out, please let us know and we would be happy to help.

  • Thanks Criss, the spring color helps, but are you positive that is all that was changed? I've read the first Strike kits had issues with the drums sensors/durability which was improved, as well as including a dual-braced snare stand in the latest bundles...the snare stand (or as good of one) wasn't originally included, correct?

    The snare stand was always included with this kit, it was not a later addition nor was it changed. Manufacturing is always subject to change regarding pads however, we are not providing faulty pads without kits. A sensor may go out once in a while but if that is the case please contact us so we can see what we can do for you.
