  • Hi Jeff,

Thanks for posting. Sorry you're having issues with your SR16.

Have you tried performing a reset on the SR16? To do this, power on while holding down [ERASE] and [PLAY] for 3 seconds. All existing Patterns, Songs, and drum assignments will be lost.

If you're still having issues after that, you may need to service your SR16.

Warranty and non-warranty claims are not handled here on the forum, but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Warranty or Service inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the Alesis Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop-down menu.

    or

Make sure to reference or link this thread to help out the support team.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hi, I have a problem with my SR-16. It works fine just using the basics fills and presets, but when I try to create a song I cannot hear anything. To be clear, I can hear all the basic presets and I can tap on the pads just fine, but in song mode the machine just plays the song without producing any sound. I've followed the manual exactly and also watched the Alesis demo video, so I'm sure I'm doing it right. Any ideas?
