I screwed up the firmware install. Is there a way to reset the module to original factory settings and restart the install?

On the Strike Module. I restarted after the first update instead installing both right away. Now I can't install the second file or finish the update. Help?

  • Hi Mark,

    Thanks for posting.

The only way to correct an incorrect firmware update is to try performing the update again. You may need to try the update a few times for the update to push to the module. I would also suggest trying the update on another computer if you consistently notice issues trying to perform it. Make sure your module is connected directly to your computer and that you aren't going through a hub. Try using another port on your computer and another cable.

I've included a guide below that will walk you through how to perform the firmware update, step by step. Check it out below:

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.
