Multimix 4 USB Not working with Windows 10 Laptop

I have a MultiMix 4 USB on a Window 10 laptop and it's not being recognised although windows makes the USB detection noise, no USB audio codec showing in playback devices.

I have a Steinberg UR44 which works via USB, but I have disconnected every audio device from the laptop and restarted to troubleshoot. Still no success.

The laptop is HP and has IDT High Definition Audio Codec.

Tried on another laptop and it works fine, also windows 10.

  • Hello,

Thanks for posting. Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your mixer.

Make sure you're connected directly to the port closest to your power supply. If you're using a tower, make sure the keyboard is connected to a port on the back.

Have you tried using another USB port or cable on your computer?

Since the mixer seems to connect fine with another computer, it sounds like the issue may be with the ports on this computer you're using. Do you experience connectivity issues with other USB devices at all?

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.
