MULTIMIX 8 USB 2.0 STOPS RECORDING

Hi, I recently bought an Alesis Multimix 8 USB2.0 (used), and it works perfect as a mixer, but as interface, it is not working propertly, it crashes at any moment when recording, it just stops recording. The power supply is ok, it doesn't turn off, I've tried changing the usb cable, but the problem persists.
Also tried with differents programs.
Any idea??

  • Hi Juan,

Thanks for posting. Sorry you're having issues with your mixer.

Can you elaborate a little more on the symptoms you're experiencing? What do you mean when you say it's "crashing"? What exactly happens when you experience this? Have you tried using another USB port on your computer or another computer altogether?

  • Thanks for your answer!
It just stops recording, and I have to press again the recording button, and works for two seconds and then again, and again.
I've tried in all of the usb ports, also in differents computers, and it is the same.
I think it is an electronic issue, since now (and this is new) when I plug the Multimix 8, a warning saying "USB device not recognized" appears.
Do you think it can be repaired?

Thanks again for your time again!
