Need NanoSynth editor for Mac OSX (High Sierra)

I would appreciate knowing of any editing software for the NanoSynth that will work with Mac OS.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I found a NanoSynth editing program for iPad, but it gets bad reviews and I can't seem to find it anywhere in the App Store.

  • Hello Bill -- Thanks for your prompt response.

I did look over the thread you recommended, but did not find a link to any NanoSynth editing software. There was some discussion, but perhaps I glossed over something important. There are links to the NanoSynth's user and factory banks.

If you know where to find this software, I would appreciate it greatly if you would provide a link. I'm running Mac OS 10.13.6.

I've found 3rd party editing software for the NS from Sound Quest, but it isn't updated for the latest Mac OS (I sent them an email regarding this, but no response as of yet). Also I don't have serial input capabilities, as far as I know, on the Mac.

I understand that editing through NS's MIDI IN/OUT creates a feedback loop that screws up the software functionality, but I don't know this for sure. Using NS's MIDI to interface with the software is another question I asked in my email to Sound Quest.

Sound Quest does have NS editing software for the iPad -- I downloaded it, but it looks very bleak on first impression, and not intuitive. I'll run it through my old Alesis i/o doc (first gen, but still performs just fine) - connected to my iPad via NS MIDI and see what can be done. This app is a demo version and I'm not sure of what I'll find.

In the meantime, thanks for whatever help and feedback you might provide to get the NanoSynth to load and function with a Mac-compatible editing app is much appreciated. And I'll post any information/solutions I come across.
