Strike Pro post update problem

I updated my Strike Pro module about a week ago, there were problems at 23% of the trigger update using a Mac so I did it with a PC. Since doing the update when I turn the unit on and play for a few minutes, or until I notice it, the ride cymbal stops producing sound and occasionally crash 1&2 rarely, there is however, the effect sound of the cymbal coming through the headphones or main outs. Turning the module off and restarting will only cure the problem again for a few minutes of playing. I found that moving the faders even slightly will bring the direct sound back but doesn't always last. I did find that if I pull all the faders down before turning the module on, let the first preset kit load and then move the faders up everything works just fine. I didn't have any problems before the update like this and I can't find a cure other than doing the fader procedure which I should not have to be doing! I also would like to note that when the direct sound goes away that I sometimes get random ghost triggers. Is there a way to revert back to the original firmware or is a new version in the works?

  • Yesterday I noticed they had no ride, the only cure was to restart the module. I also get random snare hits out of nowhere, even if I'm not playing the kit or even when I'm playing too, I can be away from it, not touching it and getting random snare head hits along with every now and then a Chuck from the hi hat

  • It sounds like very similar problems , but I think I might have found the problem with mine anyway. I did my fader down startup, everything worked fine. I grabbed my notes , again, That I made before doing the update and found that in Utility, trigger, hihat splash and cymbal choke were set to SENT. My notes said , NOT SENT. I changed it to not sent, pressed save and back to kit, turned the module off, then turned it back on without touching the faders and... It worked fine. I played for an hour with no problems at all, shut it down for 10 minutes, turned it back on with the faders still up and again everything is working as it should. HMMMMM
