When Re-saving a User Kit in the module that was created in STRIKE Editor..the names are cut off..resulting with .skt with shortened name..and original .skt remains unchanged
Example:GRETSCH Stop Sign Kit..becomes GRETSCH Stop Sign K

The only way to correct is by connecting the module to STRIKE Editor and resaving the shortened .skt with the new settings as the original and deleting the shortened .skt?

Local Cont is in the User Guide, yet there is no option in the module, also "clock out" has been removed from the Midi menu as of the V1.20 update?

  • Hello,

    Thanks for posting.

Concerning the Mute Groups: You can assign your triggers to the desired Mute Group by visiting Edit > Voice > FX/MIDI >Other. Use the Up and Down buttons to navigate to TRIG, where you can use the data dial to select the trigger you wish to include in the Mute Group. After you've made the desired changes, you can save your settings following the instructions found on page 17 of the included user guide.

I'm not quite understanding what you're describing here. Can you please provide me with some reproducible steps so that I may try to replicate this on my end?

Can you please tell me where you saw this in the guide?

I will be happy to submit this to my software team for you as a feature request.

  • Concerning the Mute Groups: You can assign your triggers to the desired Mute Group by visiting Edit > Voice > FX/MIDI >Other. Use the Up and Down buttons to navigate to TRIG,

There is no such option...there is only 3 options in that menu..

    Priority
    Mute Group (off..0-9)
    Playback..

    there is no TRIG

    .........................................................................................

When re-saving a user kit after editing..it cuts the name off..

Example:GRETSCH Stop Sign Kit..it becomes GRETSCH Stop Sign K..
.there isn't enough characters..so it saves as a new .skt , which now makes 2 .skt for the same kit...1= edited version..1= original

Local Cont... Strike module user guide..page 27

"LocalCont This determines whether the module receives MIDI messages from the
triggers (connected to the trigger inputs) or an external source (over
the USB port or MIDI In).
On: The module will receive MIDI messages from your Strike Kit triggers.
Off: The module will receive MIDI messages from an external MIDI
    device like a sequencer"

  • Mute Groups
I misinterpeted TRIG as I was looking for a seperate button/menu option

So after some trial and error...
    Edit > Voice > FX/MIDI >Other.

use the up/down go up to trigger and use dial to select trigger.
then go back down and select mute group 0-9..
then back up to trigger...select another trigger
then down to mute group and select 0-9

repeat until you have the selected triggers in a mute group.
You cannot save from that screen so then go "back" . save.

So all the voices assigned to the trigger/layers are assigned to that mute group
and the only way to know what voices are used is by selecting a trigger and see which voices are assigned to the layers in that trigger.
and the only way to tell whats in a mute group is by selecting a trigger and checking mute group #.
There is no menu to select mute group and see which triggers/voices are there...you have to check the triggers one by one.
