Turbo mesh audio-in reverb.

Hi,
When i plug-in my phone into the drum module to play along songs , they take the reverb from the drum set and are impossible to play with.
Any idea how to turn this off ?
Thanks

  • Hi Gwen,

    Thanks for posting.

Are you referring to the Nitro Mesh Kit? We do not currently have a product called the Turbo Mesh.

Follow these steps below to adjust the amount of reverb emitted by your module:

    1. Press Kit, then press Page/Select until the desired setting appears in the display:
    • VOL: Kit volume
    • REV*: Kit reverb
    • EQH*: Equalization, high frequencies
    • EQM*: Equalization, mid frequencies
    • EQL*: Equalization, low frequencies
    2. Use the < and > buttons to adjust the value.
    * The reverb and equalization affect the sound of the kit, song, and the output of a connected MIDI device
    when that kit is selected.

    I hope this helps!

Very Interesting how Alesis does not seem to really Support the Turbo Mesh Kit right now? Is it a new release??

I'm Trying to register my Prouct to get Drivers because my MIDI is not working. But its neither in the Product Dropdownlist nor does the Serialnumber work with the DM Lite.

    Very Strange.

Also interesting how some Alesis employees (well I suppose the sales guys) are literally showing it off https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1C6J1...

  • Yeah, I have this very same problem. I see they were not acknowledging this product many months ago, but they have now- I was able to register mine, so I think the support people know.

But Gwen's question is accurate: The kit reverb just blitzes the audio in from the iPhone. It's really difficult to use it.

Also- it also only plays one of 2 stereo channels- so you are at the mercy of how it was mixed by the artist. You might only get a vocal and piano track and the channel that has the drums that you are trying to concentrate on is way too low. My stupid fix for this was keep some in each phones in (like airpod) and then cover my ears with regular headphones.

But reverb is a huge problem on this kit, and I am going to post separately about that.

  • Oh also, this thread reads "Answered" in the topic list, and it is clear the "answer" provided is for a completely different product.

Alesis employees- please revisit this and answer properly.

    thanks
