"invalid credentials"

Hi, I created my account by using Facebook. Now I am not able to log in, it says "could not autherize you from Facebook because "invalid credentials"."
Could you please help me? Been using sidereel for several years and never had a problem like this.

I'm not seeing a problem with your account on our end.

You might try going to Facebook settings (https://www.facebook.com/settings), then Apps and Websites, and search for SideReel in the 'search apps and websites' box, to make sure we are still under "active".



Facebook started 'expiring' these, and you'll have to click renew under SideReel to get it back. Unfortunately, if this is the case, there's nothing we can do on our end, but that should fix it.

You can alternatively sign into your account using your email address or username and your password. If you don't remember your password, you can reset it via http://www.sidereel.com/users/password/new

Check your yahoo.co.uk email address. Perhaps in junk/spam, or misfiltered?

I've tried the Facebook fix and its says sidereel is active but I still cant log on . I would create a new one but I cannot remember all the shows I have tracked or previously tracked.

You don't need to create a new account. You can alternatively sign into your account using your email address or username and your password. If you don't remember your password, you can reset it via http://www.sidereel.com/users/password/new

The email address you are using on GetSatisfaction also has an account on SideReel. That account does not appear to be Facebook connected.

The FB connected one appears to be on your tiscali.co.uk email.

I have been a member for years and for the first time i cant log in and i created the account with facebook. I have never given this site a password and now you say a password i never made is wrong. Well im done with this site good luck

It's not working. I've removed authorization from Facebook for side reel to log in. I've authorized side reel both on my phone and desktop computer. There is an error somewhere.

I can't even look up my account (I've been a member FOR YEARS) because I only ever logged in via Facebook and my email "does not exist."

Your username is the same as here "SueLaughsAlot". You should be able to log in with that and your password (reset from the above link, if your old password doesn't work or you've forgotten it).

We are not sure what's causing the error, or if is actually on our end, but it's been sent to IT to look into the issue.

Customer Service is now closed for a four-day weekend. I'll look into this again on Tuesday, but in the meantime, please use your username or email address and password to log into your account.

Can you put up a notice on your log on page when this is resolved cause I read this whole thread looking for the solution to end here... so please it would be useful for the rest of us experiencing this problem

It was an attempt to fix the problem. Since then the issue has been turned over to IT.

Without sidereel, I cannot survive. My TV show fix is my chill and clearly, I watch way too many shows and can't track them in my brain haha. I so hope this issue gets sorted ASAP, Thank you TV Queen for the help.
