It was bad, now getting even worse, you stop the audio and now they are back to back. I'm looking up the Beatles, and being hit with LOUD movie trailers that are louder than my own music I am playing of the Beatles. WTF!!!! Wikipedia, does NOT have this problem. No wonder Bryan Adams wants nothing to do with your web site!!!!! And yet again I just heard the fifth ad while typing this damn comment!!!! So stupid. I love and told everyone about this site, but no more, never again.

Hi Brian,
It's never our intent to run ads that are intrusive or offensive, and since hiring a new ad ops person we've had many many fewer incidents of such ads. Because you provided product/brand detail about some of the ads, I was able to report those and they should be going away.

Thanks.

Okay, due to your quick reply I went back and stop having trouble for a few days. Now an American Eagle Outfitters ad that jumps from one ad spot on the site to another with a crappy pop songs I hate that got louder than my own music again piped up. WTF. So you just going after each AD or you gonna fix your whole system.... I'll wait for your response for 24 hours. After that and if not please I'm gonna block your site from my Network and highly suggest it for all my client whom I do some support for.

Hi Brian,
Here's an update: we're in the middle of changing our ad server setup, and it'll take until the end of next week for us to get rid of these ads. We understand how annoying these ads can be, so we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience while we handle things on our end.

Thanks.

Okay, well after my last comment I haven't heard any annoying ads. But I did hear a complaint from a friend/client who asked me to block your site cause she heard this morning a movie trailer that said the word "shit" in it, while she was watching children with children's music playing. That to me seems a step backwards, and gearing away from family-friendly. she didn't know what it was for and doesn't care, she was pissed, she watches other people's children. I myself have a 4 year old and a 3 year old niece and would not like that to happen either and wouldn't care what you guys had to say. I'm going to searching for an easier way to look at song & album placement on charts, so far you guys been far beyond the easiest and best, but this is not making it worth it. Wish i time just to put all that on wikipedia, and thus make you guys useless and just annoying. You're system is beyond messed up an un organized and unreliable beyond that charts. I'm actually making my own set up on iTunes that more organized and has even more info than you guys have. but yeah, unwanted sounds, specially loud and offensive even less helpful

There's also another Topic i started before this about the same called "Ads with Audio" and this one person left this comment I believe you should read:

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
Intolerable Video Ads.

There's suddenly something VERY WRONG with the video ads attached to AllMusic search results. On a Mac in the Firefox browser, they suddenly start playing with the audio at FULL Volume - regardless of the system volume setting on the Mac; regardless of whether other audio (e.g. iTunes) is already playing on the Mac; regardless of whether the AllMusic tab is even open on the browser; regardless of whether the entire browser has even been minimized to the doc; regardless of whether the Mac is even ASLEEP. I just returned home from a shopping errand to find my sleeping Mac blaring one of these incredibly annoying AllMusic clips at FULL BLAST. This is an infuriating invasion of privacy. How can I disable this crap?

Wow, sounds like a full BOYCOTT is in order with this BS.

Apologies for the delay in this.

Our ad team is currently moving to a new platform that will allow us more direct control over the ads that we serve on AllMusic. We hope to have this new platform in place by Friday 9/13.

Thank you for your patience as we work through this annoying issue.

Thanks, I'm glad this finally going to resolved, as i said I do like your site for it's records on the Charts, I'm looking for to the annoying ads to stop. When, I have confirmed it, I will inform my clients whom asked to block it, though I doubt the one who heard the swear will she said she doesn't care what kind of promises, but loud swearing was too much.

I've been enjoying no problem for awhile again, and now the day after you say you'll have this in place, a VERY ANNOYING!!!! ad pop up for "Despicable Me 2". It's like you guys take care of it, forget it, and then just piss on us like we're urinal cakes. So I'm going to block you guys on all my clients, and I'm going to put forth a high suggestion of BOYCOT. I just recently had shoulder surgery and this ad, annoied me so much i bumped my arm and i'm lots of pain, so thank you so damn much. Guess I'll just use Wikipedia that's ad-free and get whatever else from google or straight from billboard's website. I'm officially done with you're stupid ass site. Fuck off!!!!!! EVERYONE SHOULD BLOCK YOUR DAMN ANNOYING SITE
