Hi,
I downloaded your app for iPad/iPhone today but despited attempts to create an account the app gives the message...unable to create account. Why? If it's because I am in Australia then the app is not useable and I can only delete it and rely on the browser option. Sadly, that means the app and it's functions are not universal. Please suggest affix for me. Regards, Mark.

Hi Mark,
You being in Australia should not have anything to do with it.
We'll take a look.

I just tried to register on the app and it worked fine.

Care to try again? Maybe our system was having issues earlier and has corrected itself?

Additionally, you can go to this site and register, then log into the app after that.

Please let us know if either of these methods worked out for you.

Thanks,
Zac

I do not understand why I have to create a different login for my Allmusic.com iPhone app than I have already had for years with the Allmusic.com website and especially why it is attempting to obtain a birthdate for me. I do not give out my birthdate or birth year to anyone including your staff because of identity theft risks.

If you want to have people agree whether they are over 18, just have them check a box that says they agree they are, but I don't remember having to do that when I signed up for my allmusic.com account years ago that I still have.

Why can't I simply log in to my new Allmusic.com iphone app with my allmusic.com log in? You're making it too hard to use. I don't even understand why i should be logging in anyway.

You're making it too hard to use. I don't even understand why i should be logging in anyway. I don't feel like having my phone tracked that way anyway so if I do have to create one, I'm not going to sit there and give you all this info you can sell that you think I'm going to give you; people can make a profile up if you're going to be that nosy. Probably it's better I don't therefore use my real login I use for allmusic.com already since you aren't letting me do it anyway.
