Noticed that on the following page...

http://beta.allmusic.com/composition/...

the bottom part of the description appears to be obscured on my browser. Seems to be same on other classical works pages. Also, there is no "avg. duration" against each "parts/movements" entry like there is in the old site.

In what you're seeing, does the description just end with "Brahms creates further tension by casting the two dances in the keys of A major and C sharp "?

I can't tell if that is a data/text issue or a display issue. We'll find out.

Not sure if Avg. Duration per part/movement is still available in our current data delivery system.
I'll investigate.
Thanks.

Yes the description just ends as you describe. Here is a screenshot of what I see:

Comparing with the old site, the description should read:

"Brahms creates further tension by casting the two dances in the keys of A major and C sharp major, respectively, creating conflict and ambiguity as to which tonal center will prevail; ultimately, the A major sarabande/scherzando emerges victorious."

And there's another paragraph of text after that!

Zac, you commented - "I can't tell if that is a data/text issue or a display issue.".

Could it have something to do with the layout on the classical work page which is slightly different to other pages in that it has an extra section ABOVE the advertisement section?

"Description" section
"parts/movements" section
"advertisement" section
"appears on" section

Or is there an issue with a "read more"/"collapse" control that is not displaying correctly or even not existing where there should be one?

The latter.
Our developers are working on a fix that should be in place for Monday or Tuesday's build.

Thanks for the heads up.

Hi Graham.
Looks like our overzealous developers got this one in early.

Can you please check that this is fixed for you?

Thanks so much.

The entire page on the group "The Hombres" is a total fabrication and lie from the very start. My name is Jerry Masters, FOUNDER and LEADER of the group "The Hombres."

If you want the REAL truth, please contact me at backinshoals@gmail.com and I will set you straight on this useless page of BS.

You might also want to inform Bruce Elder, or whoever wrote this article, that I have contacted my attorney, who is prepared to litigate this all the way to the top for this false and totally fabricated lie and nowhere near the truth.

Hi Jerry,

Thank you for your feedback. I have forwarded this to both a senior editor in our Classical department, and our legal department, for their consideration.

What has this post got to do with my original post and why is it being forwarded to the Classical department?

Hi Graham, it seems to have little to do with your original post, but it is impossible to separate Jerry Masters' post into its own item, so I'm doing the best I can with what I have. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Dawn,

Thank you so much for jumping on this so quickly. I sat here with my mouth open when I saw this page. It is as phony as a $3 bill. I have never in my life, (72 years) seen such audacity and intestinal fortitude as these guys must have to try and steal our name and our fame. It pisses me to no end. (sorry) I wish I could find out who these guys are, and put my attorney on it. They are the bottom of the barrel if they think this is going to work for them.

I look forward to hearing from the Legal department AND your Classical department. These ingrates deserve to have the book thrown at them, at all costs.

Thanks again for the heads up,

Jerry Masters
