daily email stopped coming

my daily email stopped coming and I checked out all my connections as per your help file, is there anything else that could be stopping it?

I have not gotten my daily tracking emails for the last 3 days. I really need these so please tell me what the problem is and fix it asap.

This week, I got one email about a show, but I haven't got any since, and there are many shows on, and I'm still tracking them and signed up for e-mail. Is there any way to fix this?

I have been looking into this subject and received this from hotmail:

"Hi CathyHill,

Please provide us the complete e-mail address of Sidereel and a copy of the bounce message the site receives when sending you an email. The bounce message will help us to determine what’s causing the issue.

Thanks."

If a sidereel mod could help me out with acquiring these, it would be great :)

Hi Catherine!
Unfortunately our system doesn't store bounced messages, but the email that our Daily Calendar Emails are sent from is 'info@sidereel.com'.

I have the same issue, they stopped coming a couple months ago, without me changing anything. I went into preferences and it's checked that I should receive emails, but I haven't received anything. Please help!

Hi Amanda! So sorry to hear that! If you have a hotmail email address, it's likely that your email is rejecting our incoming automated emails. You can either contact your email provider about why you're not receiving the emails you subscribed to, or simply change the email in your SideReel preferences to a different email address to see if you have better luck there! In the meantime, we're working on finding out why our SideReel Daily Calendar Emails are having such a hard time reaching you!

I'm not sure... I had been receiving them for a long time, then one day they stopped coming. I didn't change hotmail settings, they're not going into the junk folder either

I'm like all of the other complainers.....had been receiving the emails from you guys for a long time. I've made no changes, yet the emails stopped coming a couple of weeks before Christmas! Sure hope you can figure out what's wrong. I know the emails are NOT going into my spam folder. I check it regularly before deleting!

I've waited for a long time to get the emails again... and nothing has been done about it. I've tried using my hotmail.com account and my yahoo.ca account and neither one received any emails since I stopped receiving them.

DO SOMETHING to fix the problem

Amanda, what you write doesn't bode well with my no longer receiving these emails since a couple weeks before Christmas. Sidereel, why are you not responding to us and fixing this problem?

Yeah when I was chatting with hotmail, they were really keen to sort out the issue with the sidereel team. Surely if sidereel has submitted the proper requests, something could have been done to fix the problem and we'd have had updates by now!

Yeah I haven't received updates since May... it's really annoying. Sidereel told me to email Hotmail administration, and Hotmail told me it's a problem with Sidereel, etc. etc.

So apparently we just get the ol' run-around. Eventually I just gave up emailing everybody. I write down the days that my shows are on and end up checking tv.com to see when they're going to play.

The sad thing is it's not just Hotmail, or Gmail, 'cause I have Yahoo mail and I'm not getting the updates! And like we are all saying, we've done nothing different, so how can Sidereel say it's our mail servers? I think they have a problem and just don't know how to solve it. I guess I'll have to go back to checking tv.com. It was just so nice and convenient to have Sidereel send the emails. Oh, well.

Hi thatcrazydoglady - sorry for the confusion, but it's an issue with your email server blocking our emails, not you personally.
Hotmail has flagged our incoming emails as spam due to their frequency – we're sending them to you, but you're not getting them because hotmail is blocking them.
We've been in contact with hotmail but the issue has yet to be resolved, but I promise we're working on it.
We haven't had regular issues with yahoo, however, so if you send us your email we can take a look at your specific case and see what's happening.

Alex, I'm thatcrazydoglady and the same problem has begun to happen for me again also. Last week, tho', I actually got a couple of the emails after a day that I got one for! Meaning they came late! I use Firefox as always. The only change I know of recently is what Yahoo Mail has done, which is rather irritating to everyone! Maybe the problem lies with them? And if so, what to do?

The last time I recieved a calendar email was 10/14. I did find a couple in junk mail before that, but it was erratic then. Nothing anywhere since then.

So, why all these new emails stating the same old problem and yet nothing from SideReel.com or Alex, our contact person? Obviously there is a problem. Can't you just let us know as much and say you're working on it?
